Inside the Exxclusive Interview with Yung Nut for Grind Magazine

On October 23, 1990 a future star was born to Jose Andujar and Charlette Johnson Andujar.  Gregory Antonio Andujar would become a 2011 106 & Park Freestyle Champion and there is so much more to the artist than his Lil Boosie like rap style and ADHD stage presence. Recently President of the all female promotion company H.U.S.T.L.E?B.A.N.G! got a chance to interview the upcoming artist and get some more insight.  Also known as Yung Nut, Greg is a very humble and hilarious artist looking for more than just a career in music. The name was a name that he received as a child.  Growing up in the streets of Charlotte, NC he wanted to run the streets with his big brother and CEO of his label. Due to him being so young they called him yungin.  With him wanting to run the streets with the big boys they called him peanut.  The name stuck but, with age was broken down to Yung Nut and stuck.

Yung Nut was five when he began rapping but, didn’t take it serious. I was always good at putting words together.  He had a girlfriend that was killed and that’s when he began to take it more serious. Her death is also the reason that 223 mean so much.  Both their birthdays were on Oct 23rd. If you add the numbers together and you get 7. Everyone knows that 7 is a lucky number. 223 is God’s perfect number.  He went into major detail on the relationship he shared with his lost love.  The story was very touching and heart warming all at the same time.
As far as his feelings on the music industry now, Yung Nut had so much to say.  He feels that the industry is not as it once was but, is slowly coming back to the basics. Everyone will show tell you the good about being in the streets but, they don’t let you know the outcome of death and prison.  He wants to be the spokesperson for his generation.  He doesn't want to be an average rapper; he wants to be a legend.
Yung Nut  worked with many industry artists. Lil Boosie is a big inspiration for the young artist and he has hopes of him being freed soon.
He has also done shows with Freeway, Jodi Breeze, Trina and Yo Gotti.
The best way to become a major artist is to think major.  Don’t do anything local.  Be major from the beginning!  There is no better way to get acknowledged than being in the club with one artist one night and a different big name the next.  You will definitely have people saying, "who is this guy. He was poppin bottles with Yo Gotti last night and now he in here with Rick Ross. He must be important". He is currently working on his mixtape and his album.  The album will be a backup of the mixtape entitled "Returning 223".  The artist wants to give his fans what they have been accustomed to. A lot of people make it and change up or go commercial too quick. Nut does not want to leave his fans disappointed or lose them.
This was a very interesting interview.  I can definitely see this young man going very far and very fast.  He has such a good head on his shoulder and so much insight into life.  Stay tuned because you will definitely see more from him.  For all fans that want to know what is next he will be in Kentucky the week of Jan 15th, a show in his hometown of Charlotte performing with Maino, Trina and Roscoe Dash and on January 20th he will be performing for Da Commission at their Victory Concert in Raleigh at the club Sharksbar.

HB Artist of the Week

Prez of HB recently got to chop it up with our Artist of the Week 100 C.R.E.A.M. to find out more about the artist and what he has going on. His love for writing period brought him into the rap game. At age of twelve he would sit and write about anything, in any form of expression through pen and paper. He would write stories, poetry, songs, and other projects. The name 100 C.R.E.A.M is derived from the old acronym Cash Rules Everything Around Me. (An old school Wu - Tang Clan Song).  As a youngster, coming up in the hood was a constant struggle, Anthony realized that nothing moved without the money, and from then on he knew it had to be all about the money and the grind for success to get the money. He took on the name C.R.E.A.M.  The 100 just defines the name more One hundred percent C.R.E.A.M., keeping it 100. And he is definitely about his cash and doing everything he can to get it.
100 C.R.E.A.M has worked with Strap, Pop Corn, Ted Bundy, and a long list of local artist. With the influences of his mother, father and grandmother He has learned to strive for greater goods and goals, and put God first. Listening to a lot of artist coming up, not all of them rappers he learned the difference in winning and losing. CREAM says he listened to a lot of old school R&B, country music and gospel music.  When he looks at the rap game and defines what a successful rap artist is, he would say Sean “Jay -Z” Carter is the kind of person you could follow. He’s a business man and CREAM is a business man.
Prez asked CREAM what made him unique. Only a boss could make a statement like this, “I think what makes me unique is I’m not trying to sound like another muthafuka’! (Laughs) I feel like my style stands out. I’m not trying to be Jeezy, Jay-Z, Wayne, Drake, or any other artist that’s in the lime light. I’m simply me. Everybody is a trap star these days, even the teachers that teach high schools. A lot of fakes are in it to win it. I’m from the hood and the trap house but when it comes to music I think the art of rap should b expressed through creativity. There’s a lot of hot garbage running the street. If you want to know why I’m unique just stay tuned people. It ain’t even just rap no more.” And it definitely is not rap anymore.  After dealing with his  biggest accomplishments, first mentioned, surviving ten years of  prison without a blemish and returning to the streets  late 2010, he started shooting photos with  photographer Deontrai Williams, out of Goldsboro, N.C. and placing my face on modeling networks. With hard work and determination CREAM got a contract in Atlanta with Glo Models. He has had music featured on K97.5 (Raleigh, N.C.) and Kiss 101.9 (New Bern, Greenville, N.C.). CREAM is also a contracted author. The first novel is entitled GOOD GIRLS , coming out 2012, dropping with  LINK 2 U PUBLISHING. And of course he created Cream 2 the Ceiling Ent. (C2C Ent.)
GOOD GIRLS is basically the hottest book that you’re going to read this year. Its definitely gonna have the ladies of all ages tuning in with an open eye. Its based on four black women, from different parts of their city, challenged by every thing a woman is challenged with while growing into adult hood. It gives a entire new meaning to the word GOOD GIRLS. Looking at it from an authors view or any one who loves writing, you’ll probably notice the creativity of how the story was written period. It’s a great read. Ladies go get that book twice!!! Fellas read it as well. You will not be disappointed.
Cream believes that a person has to keep more than one hustle turning. You never know where your bread winning come from. To stay on top of his business he is currently taking classes at an community college right now for Business Administration. With his parole coming to an end his next move is to finish his mixtape, The December Surprise, get it circulating through the state and take have his crew doing bigger business with big wigs that can get shit done (Haha).   CREAM wants to be that out of the cut artist you may have heard about but never heard about. A lot of people fall do to crappy networking and useless clogging of material that’s not being used to its full potential. When this GOOD GIRLS drops, when THE DECEMBER SURPRISE drops, it will only give him product to push harder across county lines for bigger deals. CREAM would like to receive movie offers, play offers, label deals, and bigger business.
CREAM’s  squad  C2C/ Black House Entertainment is very closed house. They do their own production, writing, and all. They are currently the head movement of WE HUSTLE MUSIC GROUP INC. with photographer Deontrai Williams. Stay tuned for more big things to come from this young man.
100 C.R.E.A.M “ I want all the watchers and fans to know I take all I do serious. Success to me isn’t something that might happen. Its something that must happen. Follow me at Facebook.com/Anthony100CreamLangston or Twitter me @its 100Cream”

H.U.S.T.L.E?B.A.N.G! Artist of the Week

A lot of unsigned artist talk about the glitz and glam of what they are doing and where they have been without being able to show and prove.  NY branch Commission artist Tito Montana talks what he lives.  He is making major moves with his team Final Score ENT and CEO of HB Nena recently had the chance to sit down and get a further look into his life and his crawl to the top!! Tito Montana has lived the street life and is using what he learned to better his life as well as that of his Final Score member and protege D. Weathers who is also making major moves in the underground music industry.
The  name Tito Montana was a nickname given to the artist from the move "Scarface" (Tony Montana). Rayheim Drayton did not want to use Tony so he took Tito.  When he got out of the game, he decided that he did not want to glorify the lifestyle so he gave Montana a meaning (Moving On New Territory Acquiring Nobody's Approval). When you hear Tito's music you get a glimpse of reality. And his ability to entertain and be real leaves anyone that is apart of his show astounded. Final Score was brought together while Rayheim was incarcerated from his past lifestyle.  He had sights on what could build a brand  and take the music game by storm.  Unfortunately , all the original guys aren't apart of Final Score today but, Tito wishes  them much success in their future ventures.
This is the fourth quarter in the music industry.  Final Score have made many moves with in the last year to leave the fourth quarter looking like the take over.   He has opened up for the likes of Lloyd Banks, Mario, J. Cole, Fabolous, Juelz Santana, Tierre Marie, Donny(from making the band)  and many more. Recently, Final Sore signed a girl by the name of Alissa.  She is the teams "secret weapon". Tito believes with some grooming and a little guidance she will definitely leave her footprint in the industry.   In October Final Score left their mark in North Carolina with a 7 city tour including Raleigh, Fayetteville, Chapel Hill and Winston Salem.

"It was an indescribable feeling.  I would like to think the Ladies of Hustle Bang because without them it wouldn't be possible. And shout out to Fayetteville State and their Bronco Radio"

There were 2000 cd's and over 500 posters left in NC with that Tour. He also made that trip for the opening of the Fayetteville State basketball season, where most of the crowd were rockin "Break It Down" tshirts in honor of the Tito Montana video that was recently released.  You can view the video on the right hand side of the HB Blog spot screen.  We the ladies of HB definitely promote this video and would like to shout out Tommy S. for the outstanding production of the hit video.
Tito Montana is definitely leaving his mark.  He will be remembered for being someone who cares, a great father, and a guy with much determination as a go getta.  Not only does he put in work with his Label but, he is always willing to help with charities, working and mentoring others and striving to make Poughkeepsie, NY better.

Q: Thanks for taking time to do this interview with me. Any last words?

A: Shout out H.U.S.T.L.E?B.A.N.G!, 845, Poughkeepsie, Final Score Entertainment, Boss Chandler, 25/8, My Commission Family and R.I.P to my mother!!!
