HB Artist of the Week

Prez of HB recently got to chop it up with our Artist of the Week 100 C.R.E.A.M. to find out more about the artist and what he has going on. His love for writing period brought him into the rap game. At age of twelve he would sit and write about anything, in any form of expression through pen and paper. He would write stories, poetry, songs, and other projects. The name 100 C.R.E.A.M is derived from the old acronym Cash Rules Everything Around Me. (An old school Wu - Tang Clan Song).  As a youngster, coming up in the hood was a constant struggle, Anthony realized that nothing moved without the money, and from then on he knew it had to be all about the money and the grind for success to get the money. He took on the name C.R.E.A.M.  The 100 just defines the name more One hundred percent C.R.E.A.M., keeping it 100. And he is definitely about his cash and doing everything he can to get it.
100 C.R.E.A.M has worked with Strap, Pop Corn, Ted Bundy, and a long list of local artist. With the influences of his mother, father and grandmother He has learned to strive for greater goods and goals, and put God first. Listening to a lot of artist coming up, not all of them rappers he learned the difference in winning and losing. CREAM says he listened to a lot of old school R&B, country music and gospel music.  When he looks at the rap game and defines what a successful rap artist is, he would say Sean “Jay -Z” Carter is the kind of person you could follow. He’s a business man and CREAM is a business man.
Prez asked CREAM what made him unique. Only a boss could make a statement like this, “I think what makes me unique is I’m not trying to sound like another muthafuka’! (Laughs) I feel like my style stands out. I’m not trying to be Jeezy, Jay-Z, Wayne, Drake, or any other artist that’s in the lime light. I’m simply me. Everybody is a trap star these days, even the teachers that teach high schools. A lot of fakes are in it to win it. I’m from the hood and the trap house but when it comes to music I think the art of rap should b expressed through creativity. There’s a lot of hot garbage running the street. If you want to know why I’m unique just stay tuned people. It ain’t even just rap no more.” And it definitely is not rap anymore.  After dealing with his  biggest accomplishments, first mentioned, surviving ten years of  prison without a blemish and returning to the streets  late 2010, he started shooting photos with  photographer Deontrai Williams, out of Goldsboro, N.C. and placing my face on modeling networks. With hard work and determination CREAM got a contract in Atlanta with Glo Models. He has had music featured on K97.5 (Raleigh, N.C.) and Kiss 101.9 (New Bern, Greenville, N.C.). CREAM is also a contracted author. The first novel is entitled GOOD GIRLS , coming out 2012, dropping with  LINK 2 U PUBLISHING. And of course he created Cream 2 the Ceiling Ent. (C2C Ent.)
GOOD GIRLS is basically the hottest book that you’re going to read this year. Its definitely gonna have the ladies of all ages tuning in with an open eye. Its based on four black women, from different parts of their city, challenged by every thing a woman is challenged with while growing into adult hood. It gives a entire new meaning to the word GOOD GIRLS. Looking at it from an authors view or any one who loves writing, you’ll probably notice the creativity of how the story was written period. It’s a great read. Ladies go get that book twice!!! Fellas read it as well. You will not be disappointed.
Cream believes that a person has to keep more than one hustle turning. You never know where your bread winning come from. To stay on top of his business he is currently taking classes at an community college right now for Business Administration. With his parole coming to an end his next move is to finish his mixtape, The December Surprise, get it circulating through the state and take have his crew doing bigger business with big wigs that can get shit done (Haha).   CREAM wants to be that out of the cut artist you may have heard about but never heard about. A lot of people fall do to crappy networking and useless clogging of material that’s not being used to its full potential. When this GOOD GIRLS drops, when THE DECEMBER SURPRISE drops, it will only give him product to push harder across county lines for bigger deals. CREAM would like to receive movie offers, play offers, label deals, and bigger business.
CREAM’s  squad  C2C/ Black House Entertainment is very closed house. They do their own production, writing, and all. They are currently the head movement of WE HUSTLE MUSIC GROUP INC. with photographer Deontrai Williams. Stay tuned for more big things to come from this young man.
